About the Author

Metal, Video Games, Horror and Veteran. What do these words have in common? The goofiest writer in all blogdum is what... I am terrible at writing things about myself. In fact when I created an online dating profile I came off as goofy and weird... Just ask my girlfriend. Except, don't. She doesn't really like people getting into our personal lives. I have been writing for, two months. Before that I would write programs, do leather work, play video games and take care of my family in the limited spare time I had. I am a HUGE science nerd and Science Fiction fanatic. Thing is that I had some weird scenarios play out in my head and it just made me want to create these weird worlds or play it out as best as I could. One of which I am currently working on here in my blogosphere.

I grew up much like any normal modern midwestern child. Born in Texas and then moving to Wisconsin, it was said that I had the best of both worlds when it came to speech. I didn't have the southern twang but could tell a story like trucks guzzle gas. I also didn't have the Wisconsin verbiage or south Canadian sound to my voice but I was eloquent when speaking and could see both sides of the coin. Much like any other student in elementary school I imagined spaceship battles and cars that ran on water, rather then listening to my boring lessons. I mean who wants to learn about Christopher Columbus when a Vulcan could beam me aboard a star vessel. Who wants to hear their teacher drone on and on about Thomas Edison when you could be shrunk to the size of a dust mite and travel inside the weird world of the VCR. (Yes, I am that old).

My imagination aside. I eventually joined the United States Army, where I looked at pictures and told Generals what I thought of them. But even then I was imagining a war between space pirates and the United Kingdom Royal Space Navy. Of course I didn't say anything about it while I was doing pushups. Upon being told that the US Army no longer wanted me in service I became very depressed. (I know, how unusual for a veteran to be depressed) But through therapy and medication I have been able to fight my depression. But I still use horror movies to feel something. However I can now add love to the list of feelings that I can feel.

"So what about Metal?" I hear you cry. I have been a metalhead since the early 2000s. My brother introduced me and I tried to find what metal I enjoyed. I wanted to show that I was different then my brother. But alas, I just found that I loved it all. From Thrash to Death. From Symphonic to Black. and everything in between. So that is me. A nerd who loves his family, metal, video games, horror and so much more. If you are still here reading this then congratulations, go have a cookie. But before you do, look me up on bookface, at https://www.facebook.com/timginerd/. But more importantly lets have some fun.
